We do not support the trade of brandable
imports into South Africa. Cheap or otherwise.
Instead, we source unique items, hand-crafted
by talented local crafts-people and artists.
This made-to-perfect-scale bucket for Melrose Arch Hotel
imitates the famous lollipop trees in giant buckets
on pedestals in their swimming pool.
The only branding was a business card on a planter stick,
resulting in an understated gift that,
by association, will be remembered long after the
card is removed.
You dream it, we'll get it made.
We don't have a catalogue with thousands of imports to choose from. We source unique, exquisite, mostly hand-crafted artefacts as need arises from within the borders of our own country.
We carefully and creatively select or create items to suit your requirements, your situation, your people, your goals and objectives.
These are some of the one-of-a-kind artefacts
we've introduced to our clients.
Our suppliers are street vendors, women's rural empowerment projects, job creation projects, social responsibility projects, and any South African artist or artisan from among any of our communities. Our criteria is that it must be beautiful, different and local ... and if it alleviates poverty, so much the better.
Processes include weaving, bead work, pottery, sewing, sculpting, basketry, silk-screening, woodwork, leather work, metalwork, wirework, recycled can creations, painting, pewter work, glass blowing, paper-making and more.
Anything can be created and branded: corporate folders, wooden pens, bags, diaries, cushions, glassware, crockery, cutlery, handmade cards, jewellery, dolls ... and even your own wine label.
Branding processes include embroidery, beading, engraving, embossing, debossing, silk-screening, sand-blasting, printing, painting and more.
